Established and directed a four faculty research team in the procurement and performance of contract research exceeding $250,000 annually. Served as Principal Investigator on research with accumulated contract value of nearly $1,000,000. Granted tenure in June, 1981.

Specialist in environmental impact analysis for transportation projects. Developed and taught in-house training courses on fundamental and advanced highway noise analysis. Trained more than 200 engineers form various Federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as several private firms. Served as in-house consultant on such projects as Concorde SST landing, Westside Highway, Youngman Expressway, and Long Island Expressway.
